Future Stars creates a fun and learning environment that offers age-appropriate, play-based activities that meet the South Dakota Early Learning Guidelines. Literacy, math, science, sensory, fine and gross motor skills, music and much more are incorporated into each day. Each learning opportunity is a mixture of small and large group activities which allows time to teach important skills. Our weekly lesson plans and themes are included throughout the daily schedules.

While we pride ourselves in lesson planning and a structured classroom, we know that it is necessary for children to have opportunity to play! We have a large indoor gym with equipment for all ages. We focus on free-play, dance and yoga during our gym time. We also utilize our cafeteria space for that messy sensory play that children need and love so much.

Our disciplinary philosophy is to allow children to use comfort items and take body breaks as needed. We focus on parent and community partnerships if a child needs more support. We use positive reinforcement throughout the day to teach and how we naturally communicate with the children.
